Well, I could hardly sleep last night because I was so excited for my first road race! It was in Arkansas and had some awesome curvy roads, steep uphills and downhills, dogs barking at us and lots of cows mooing. I had some real technical problems today and had to stop twice to try and get my bike repaired. My brakes were rubbing on my front and back tires the entire race but I never quit! I need to thank the Tulsa Tough riders who stopped to help me!! They rock! I think I need to have a chat with my mechanic (if I had one...LOL)! Anyway, I placed 2nd and loved the hills! I am ready for another road race it was so much fun! I actually got a trophy this time and not a stuffed cow! It was the best!
